Swift Air's N438US, a B734, reversing thrust just before the nose wheel touches down on 16R. The flight was arriving from Mahlon Sweet Field in Eugene, Oregon (KEUG), and this was N438US's second visit to Reno within a week.

It is sad that Eastern Airlines has (again) folded up its tent. The EAL hockey stick livery has been a fave of mine since it appeared on the original Eastern way back in the 1960s, and the original Eastern was a great airline back then too.

Nice shot Gary, we get a couple of Swift Air planes up to YYZ a couple times a month on sports charters.

Gary... that is a sad development and end regarding the "new" Eastern Airlines.

I don't even see 737-8/9s at SFO deploy the sliders before the nose wheel touches....a 'swift' 5 on this one,
