5 Warthogs on this one...Gman! Is this the same "Leeroy" that used to fly F/A-18s with the "Sharpshooters"?

Hey, Gary... I congratulate you for this mighty fine snap.

I humbly offer this little tidbit of knowledge for your future reference: The proper spelling is "Hawg", as in "Hawgtail One" and "Warthawg". ;-)
Just kidding. Mostly.
I'll show myself out...

Tom, John, and David -- Thanx to each of you for your comments. (Thumbs Up) Tom >> I'm going to e/m him and ask. I'll let you know what he replies. (PS Tom -- Have a great time at the Collector's Show this weekend). David >> I did some sleuthing and I acknowledge my - partial - error (HUGE grin). You are 100% correct - when discussing the call sign. (MONSTER grin now) Pilots do indeed spell the call sign "Hawgtail" as in "Hawgtail One." So I stand corrected about the call sign, and I am grateful to you for smackin' my britches for the mistake. (Ear to ear grin now) I've fixed it above so it reads properly now. But those stuffy old folks at Webster's seem adamant that the nickname is spelled "Warthog." Ah, hell, rules are made to be broken, right? I'm gonna go along with you. "Warthawg" it is from now on. (ROTFLMAO) High Five to you ... and a wave too.
