In 2019 the Scorpions were deployed to Misawa AB, Japan. Fifty years earlier, in 1969, I was stationed at Misawa. During a brief conversation with a Scorpion squadron individual, I learned that the Misawa I knew back in 1969 has changed quite a bit in the half-century since I was stationed there. Of all the changes, I was most heartbroken to learn that the AP Alley I knew no longer exists. Geez, I practically LIVED there (more often than not, I woke UP there). (And any old Security Hill USAF vet who was stationed at Misawa in the late 50s, 60s, and early 70s understands why. Lolololol)
