She's an A6 Intruder, two crew seated side by side. The slightly later Prowler was stretched to incorporate a four man crew, two in the front and another two side by side in the back. Grumman knowhow out of Bethpage, Long Island..

I think that their flight testing was based out of Calverton, not very far from Bethpage. I recall that they lost the prototype F14A Tomcat on final into Calverton, although luckily both crew managed to eject safely at a very low altitude...
