ZK-BDX —
Just Hangin... This was taken at the Sir Edmund Hillary Alpine Centre in Mount Cook, New Zealand. This aircraft was Mount Cook Airlines first aircraft after WWII. The aircraft in 1954 became the first aircraft to land on a glacier, with Sir Edmund Hillary attaching retractable skis to the wheels, extended by the pilot leaning out the window and lowering a handle.
