Great shot! You can also see two other legends in the back: an SR-71 (or YF-12A) and an XB-70.
Wright-Pat, I'm pretty sure Udvar-Hazy does not have a room stacked like that.
What the hell is this ? And why isn't it in service ?
bob...the YF-23 lost out to the F22 Raptor in a fly off before the F22 went into production & eventually to the Air Force.
Miguel, that's the YF-12A and XB-70 in the background. The museum has an SR-71 in another wing of the museum.
