Boeing 737-200 (N737VU)
Comments
A wonderful classic airliner. Who knew when it was first produced how long the basic model would last. Nearing 11,000 examples later and still going strong. A question John, as this one appears well kept, is it an operating aircraft?
Gavin, no, this airframe is not "Operational" in terms of transporting people. It is actively used as a mx training aid for A&P technicians/students at Vincennes University which has an aviation college extension facility/hangar at the IND airport here. This beauty pops out of the hangar a couple of times a year. She is in immaculate condition on the inside as well. I think I have some flight deck photos posted on FlightAware. Thanks Gavin!
Thanks John. What a pity it doesn't/can't fly. Still you can't have everything and at least you get to see it. (Checked out your other pics).
