Can someone explain the flames over the wing?

No, those are flames. The sky is overcast, the color is too intense, and the smoke from the generators on the wingtips aren't lit up in the same way.

Those are not flames...Looks like it.
The vapour is lit up by flares wich were just released and still behind the aircraft.
A half a second later and this effect was gone...

That is not fire. Like Thomas said there is a flair on the back side of the plane that is causing to look like that. Same thing happened as the sunsets below the clouds it cause it to change colors. If you look at the right side of the aircraft there is a vapor trail on that side that isn't changing due to the shadow of the plane. Look at the rear of the plane you can really see the brightness of the flair. Still a great picture though.
