Unknown/Generic Balloon (HBAL21) - I first spotted the balloon on my receiver entering Texas from Louisiana. It passed directly over KAUS, so I drove over to Mt. Bonnell to take some shots. At the time of this shot its altitude was 65,200 feet, according to ADS-B messages. Location was 30.229N, -97.809E. It was about 6 nm away (horizontally) from my location (6.68 statute miles, according to Google Maps, so the balloon was 13.9 statute miles away when the photo was shot.
