HB-HOP, JU-52/3m g4e
Buildt 1939 in Dessau, Germany. Used from 1939 until 1981 as flying classroom for the swiss army "Fliegertruppe" as No. A-703
Since 1982 member of Ju-Air, a company driven by volunteers. Here seen before touch down. The runway ist too short to let pass some people...

Perfectly adequate airport for the JU-52. 800x98 meters grass runway. Thun, Switzerland.
I remember reading an article where the Rimowa company was rebuilding the JU-52 from scratch using the original drawings and trying to find as many of the people who had worked on it as possible. It was to advertise there ribbed luggage (as it says on the side of the plane), and because they ribbed aluminum had been so well used originally on this aircraft.

@Alan Brown: maybe you read about the rebuilding of the Junkers F13? It was the ancestor from JU-52.

We live near an Air force Base where a group of volunteers maintain a vintage De Havilland Vampire from the 1940's as well as several Harvard's.
Once a month they treat the local residents with their fly past displays.
