This pretty Cirrus VK-30 homebuilt was departing Whiteman Airport about lunchtime. The landing gear are retracting. This is supposed to be one of five flying early versions of the Cirrus. Looks a lot like the Grob GF-200 from Europe from about 20 years ago...wonder if cirrus bought the rights to the design.
