McDonnell Douglas MD-83 (N970TW) - An American Airlines McDonald Douglas MD-83 Flies By Approaching Dulles Int Airport, The Bare Metal looks different due to the direction and lighting that it came in! my friend DullesPlaneSpotter called it 'The Flying Mirror' and hes not wrong! :) I will truly miss the AAL MD-80s! but we have something else to worry about! Allegiant MD-80s! this photo was uploaded on Monday the 19th of November, and on Sunday, 25th November, ALL Alleigant MD-80s (any vairent) will make their FINAL FLIGHTS! and to make matters WORSE, on the SAME DAY, British Airways will also retire their Boeing 767-300s! BAW B763s used to go to Dulles, i saw a video, it was filmed in 2009, when i was only three years old! im hoping that they will fly a B763 to Dulles one last time! and i am trying my HARDEST to catch an Allegiant MD-80 before they are gone!
