RUTAN Defiant (N2HM)

Harry Manvell’s scratch built Rutan Defiant. A normal canard is unique enough, but a centerline thrust mutli takes things up a notch. While the Defiant was designed around safety not speed, Harry is continually modifying the plane with his own designs, resulting in the world’s fastest Defiant. A winner of the Airventure Cup, his cruise speed of 234mph is nearly 25mph faster than the original design.
