That is the type Douglas Bader lost his legs in?
The pilot must be GLAD too..
Just in case anyone is REALLY interested in facts about Douglas Bader's accident, it was in a Bristol Bulldog 11a registration K1676 of 23 Squadron and not a Gloster (or GOLSTER as per the photo!!!) Gladiator. Cheers.

Mike, D.BADER flew on Hurricanes did he? Or I miss something??
He did fly Hurricanes during the war, but he had the accident before the war. And I think he was just up flying around and showing off when it happened.
