Love the Warthogs!

Oooh. Was this complete with a Hollywood simulated run with gasoline and black powder charges? A 100 rd.burst of 30mm from the GAU-8 would be SO much more impressive. :)

These are one of our most unique war birds. They sound great! My son said when they called for close air support and they heard them coming they new they were protected as they eliminated the "problem" with one or two passes!

Love the A-10, especially the sound!

My GA aircraft is based at Martin State Airport in Baltimore, MD. It is home to the A-10s in the photo. It is a great scene on the field when they take off or land, usually in pairs.

Too bad the US Air Force wants to discontinue their service to our military.

I hope the A-10 is one of those aircraft that will eventually be flown by pilots younger than they are, ala B-52’s
