"an-225 ur-82060 at shannon", There is only one AN225 flying.
I know there's only one an-225,maybe the younger members of the public don't know. Your comment is a waste of time.
I wonder how many fatigue cracks there are in the upper wing skin especially where the sections join together which is common for a cantilevered wing design and how often they are inspected for using a NDT process like x-ray or eddy current
Nice plane at air shows! From a military point of view it's not a practical aircraft. Fuel load vs. payload vs. runway length needed to get off ground effect and be able to go any distance. And no air refueling ability. Still a beautiful plane!
GREAT shot!
And now, sadly, there are none :(
Brian, that remark was really unnecessary. It may be a waste of time to you, but that does not mean that is a case for all the other users of this site. I have systematically reported comments from a user who was CONSTANTLY complaining about multiple images of the same aircraft with the weekly newsletter email. Being rude and nasty towards others is not necessary or appropriate. Would you have said that to the other poster's face? Or is this a case of being a keyboard bully?
Sadly, as others have noted, this aircraft was destroyed in the early days of the Russian attack on Ukraine.
