O.K. Pretty sure that is somewhere West of the Mississippi. I'm guessing North of Yakima Wa up the Yakima River. It looks like they've had some rain recently...

Although this is not exactly an old classic, this shot beats the mostly boring pix of airliners in this edition. And the backdrop is sweet.
@2sheds - agree. I don't even look at the airliner photos. Only GA aircraft.
