Gee Bee stands for Granville Brothers and Q.E.D means "Quod Erat Demonstrandum".
This is the Q.E.D II and is a semi-replica built by Jim Moss and finished by other people after he passed away.
It's powered by a 1,425 hp Wright R-1820 Cyclone, the original plane was powered by a 675 hp Pratt & Whitney R-1690 Hornet.
Nice photo Ronald.

My mother-in-law flew in one of those. Said it was frightening, exhilarating, amazing. Would do it again in a minute. She had all the certifications, short of multi-engine sea. She was amazing...
But anyway. Excellent picture!!!
