I used to fly into SYI all the time and recently had the privilege of stopping by again. The staff is always friendly and Hank, the owner instills a a great can-do culture by example.

Great airport for fuel stop. Fuel is always competitive. No fee for full service. No landing fee. Great sevice / friendly staff. Shelbyville has a strong VOR on the field, NEXWASS, and a grat 5000+ X 75 runway with every approach you could ever want to fly. Highly recommend this airport! Beechcraft 55 Baron |
