Also, with reduced engine options, do you really believe that the new 737 will be 4% more "efficient" than the NEO?
The people that put the A300 series engines further from the ground than the 737s, gave Airbus a head start.

Is the "schedule" not on track due to supply chain management delays?
Was it a typo, or is the Leap-X 1B really 1012% more efficient than the CFM56-7BE currently used? If that's correct, that's an impressive jump, and long live the 737!
The schedule is what's experiencing overruns, not the plane.
