That will dent the financial statement. Stranded customers on a tight budget are up the creek. Others will not be happy at having to pay for a last minute high priced fare on another carrier either.

I arrived this morning at PIE for a flight back to GRR, only to be told the flight is delayed. Yeah, it sure is! They have eight planes waiting for inspections. Looks like I have to find another way up there.

Somehow American's seemed to have forgotten this fact of life.
