Only one airplane on Earth can carry four Russian military tanks, an entire train, or 50 cars. It requires six engines and a staggering 290-foot wingspan (that's nearly the length of a football field) to accomplish these feats, but such superlatives have helped the Antonov An-225 claim the distinction of being the world's biggest airplane. "Only one airplane on Earth can carry four Russian military tanks, an entire train, or 50 cars." Most trains I know pull 80 cars each at 100 tons on average. Length is 4400 feet at 8,000 tons. That does not include locomotives. No aircraft can carry an entire train as this article stated.
Nor can it carry four tanks. Tracked APCs or IFVs, but not tanks that weigh upwards of 60 tons each.
And I'd like to see them load 50 cars (other than a Smart ForTwo) into the An-225...
