Used to fly the approaches into ASE and EGE on a clear day on occasion, just so when I was doin it for real, I could remember where the "rocks" were. Practice the difficult ones, Cause if you can't fly a presentable ILS anywhere, by now, maybe you don't need an instrument rating. It ain't about being Glib, it's about doing this a long time and readin a lot of NTSB reports. Thanks Bashdan, this type post used to be what this place was all about.
