“The most important aircraft in history”? I don’t know. I like the 74, but that’s a pretty broad statement. A case could be made that the DC3 was at least as important.

I recall researching the schedules so that my wife and I got on a 747 back in 1975 I also recall doing the same thing with the family in 1992 for a trip to Seattle. It is a special airplane. Thanks for a great article, I knew a fair number of the logos.
