UAE national carrier Emirates managed to pick up five awards at the Business Traveller Middle East awards, with the carrier being voted as the worlds best airline, with the carriers partner airline Flydubai also picking up an award for Best Low-Cost airline serving the Middle East. And where was this prestigious awards ceremony held????? Why Dubai of course!
And the publisher of Business Traveler Middle East? Why it's a Dubai based company,of which the Managing Editor Ian Fairservice has been there, living in Dubai since the year Dot! He was there already when I lived in Oman and that was 1984-1986
It's a joke, this fallacy every year, as you will not find THE best airline/airport/Business class/Business lounge mentioned anywhere ...... namely Qatar Airways/Doha!
The brothers are not talking at the moment, like being back at Junior School it is.
