Icelandair sent a 737 MAX 8 to KDEN.
Icelandair sent TF-ICC to Denver International Airport replacing the regular 757-200. This continues the trend of 757-200s being scrapped and stored out of Icelandair fleet. They are to choose a replacement aircraft before the end of this year. (simpleflying.com) More...Sort type: [Top] [Newest]
Too bad. Although the 757 was getting a little long in the tooth, it's a speedster and agile.
Serious question: on a hot day, would the 737-8 be payload-limited for a departure from Denver for return to Iceland?
Don't know the specs off hand but KDEN has 3 12,000 foot runways and one 16,000 foot runway. This should be enough to get a lead sled off the ground.
