Our tax dollars at work. The man checks a package then doesn't board the flight and TSA lets the package stay on the plane. Air India, anyone?

makes me wonder if TSA opened the package in Houston and somehow accidentally turned the toy on? Most likely left on and the motion set it off. Big mess for everyone KWPA, KOKC, ATC's,all airports where flights had to be diverted to or cancelled, local police and traffic control officers. Glad it turned out ok..the country is forever changed by the acts of a few...OKC knows that all too well.

Could have been an electric tooth brush, or a self Satisfaction Device :) Being in the airline industry, I have seen all sorts of crazy stuff. Things move around in flight and if not properly stowed slide a switch. Alot of possibilities.
