Although it’s more audio than video, it’s fascinating to hear the tension as a pair F-14 Tomcats intercept and engage a pair of Libyan MiG-23 Floggers over the Gulf of Sidra. Dogfight? Hardly.
Both Libyan pilots might as well have declared they were on a suicide mission as they continued to approach the F-14s while the U.S. pilots repeatedly gave them the "benefit of the doubt".
The Libyan military should have left the pilots to swim home as punishment for such stupidity!
