I remember this from the good old days... Glad to see it coming back! I also remember when they had real silverware and places and nice glassware and I actually have a full set from USAir and Piedmont Airlines from back in the Day. Now days with Terrorism they certainly cannot bring back real Silverware, but hopefully they will do something decent instead of just cheap!

I have been on flights with real silverware. I can't bring a butter knife through security, but I can use one to cut my rubber chicken if the airline gives it to me. Plus, I can drink crappy wine out of a real wine glass. Makes no sense.

I don't think coach class airline flying will be anything in the future but the PITA it is. It is necessary at times but between TSA and the airlines' business model; being a comfortable, enjoyable, time saving experience is pretty well out of the question. Not criticizing anyone just accepting the facts.

They can keep their free meals and give me more knee room without charging me extra for it -- if it isn't already sold out.
