and here I thought Night Train was just another fine red wine - learn something new every day. In all seriousness, it is not likely that rail service will supplant air travel - at least in a country without a developed passenger rail service.

In Texas, several entrepreneurs came close to a high speed rail reality on the very same triangle that SWA shut them down with. DAL-SAT-HOU-DAL. Austin is a bee line on that route! The capitalist broom stick wins every time around these parts.
