Built in 1937 by Douglas DC-3-G102 American Airlines Flagship "Detroit" from 1937-1947.
It was the twenty-first DC-3 in American's fleet which eventually totaled eighty-four aircraft.
reported to be The Flagship Detroit is currently the oldest DC-3 in the world that is still flying,
