Gorgeous early morning/late evening motion blur shot, Gary! At the time I am writing this comment the background info hasn't been filled out yet, but I am sure it is interesting. I am personally interested in how you take these motion blur shots.
beg nicely and bet he will share with YOU/us.
Gary is a good photographer and generous person with his work.

Dwight & Jeff ... Thanx for the kind comments. But Jeff, you are only partially correct. I am always willing to offer help, ranging from methods of photo snapping to identifying good locations and even to hosting visiting photogs and escorting any photogs, to others. Why, just this morning I assisted in arranging a photo opportunity for two photogs to snap fighter jets. BUT, I only do so for those who are truly, SERIOUSLY interested in this hobby, of which there is only one in this area (well, perhaps there are two - a few days ago, I came across some fine snaps here on FA from someone I've never seen and the dude is around here. Could be just another dude playing with a camera - I'm not certain yet). Anyway, my observations in the past few years are that many are lazy and aren't motivated to learn and improve (re: look at the tens of thousands of crud shots, day after day for year after year, from LA). So Jeff, I do try to answer questions and share my experience - but only via e/m because the photogs (like Dwight) who truly ARE interested are willing to take the time to e/m. So I'll e/m both of you. (Wave)
Gary is that Reno in the background
Lovely shot, Gary! And such a perfect pan. I'd be proud to have this shot on a wall if I'd taken it myself.
Jim Q. >>> Hi, Jim. Thanx for the nice compli. (Wave)
Butlerm3 >> Yes indeed. It was well into the dawn-light hour. That golden reflection off the upper floor windows of the casino was the sun just coming up over the Virginia Range Mountains behind me (east of the airport).

Instant 5!
Well Done Gary.............
Stunning early morning photo Gary! Well done!
Perhaps heading into the rising Sun headed ESE to KATL or maybe KSLC?? This after a long last night at the tables for many pax onboard. Used to fly the 727 from KLAS back to KATL for EAL with some huge hangovers in the back.
