Jose, Thanks for the camera info! What lens are you using? I use a D7100 (also just picked up a D810 body). Definitely going to read about that DXO app, thanks again.
NP Dave. I use the previous model of the Nikor 200-400VR. Extremely sharp! My sharpest lens and also my most expensive - by far. I have a friend that has the new 200-500 Nikkor. He likes it a lot because it's light but says it's not quite as sharp as his 200-400 or 600mm lenses.
I think that's probably because it's an F5.6 lens and that handicaps the autofocus a bit - I do notice that with my 200-400 when I use a TC 1.4 on it which turns it into an F5.6 lens.
