The Last Ever 747 Produced Is Close to Completion

Submitted

After half a century of production, Boeing is close to finishing its last ever 747. The aircraft in question, a Boeing 747-8 freighter (747-8F), is expected to roll off the assembly line later this year in October. The final aircraft is set to be delivered to US cargo carrier Atlas Air, ending a glorious era once delivered. The delivery will follow two other 747-8F deliveries to Atlas Air: one next month in September and one previously in July. (aeroxplorer.com) More...

No 787, no 747....

Just limited 767 and 777.

Unless Boeing has something up it's sleeve, there's going to be lots of empty space and even more layoffs%
