Airbus Beluga struck by lightning after Hawarden take-off

Lightning striking one of the world's largest aircraft shortly after taking off from a Welsh airport has been captured on dashcam footage. The Airbus Beluga was hit while taking off from Hawarden Airport, Flintshire, at about 13:00 GMT on Tuesday. (www.bbc.com) More...

If I apply my rudimentary understanding of the physics involved, it seems that for a fraction of a second the entire plane was highly charged relative to ground potential.
Pretty darn interesting photo, in any case.
