Nothing like a “sporty” 140! Great shot of a great airplane..

It’s sad that an aircraft that literally started the the commuter airline business has no comments, not to mention the aircraft design icon Mr. Swearingen.

I thought the airliner did a pretty good job flying slot with the K50s.

If an F18 and an F16 fell in love and had babies, that's kinda what they would look like: The KAI T-50

This aircraft was formerly part of the Japan Coast Guard, and it's likely that it was equipped with auxiliary fuel tanks for long-duration flights over the sea.
Thanks for your comment.
I agree Michael, but if it was 2023 very doubtful to be an F-15A besides which the canopy extends as Perspex (whatever) all the way back to the fuselage joint so I will hedge my bet on an F-15C but as you say most definitely not an F-15E.

Interesting how the running light flash illuminates the aircraft.

I flew N429WM in 1998-99. It was sold and went to MD, where it was repainted and the number changed. It was a joy to fly.

My guess is that he is trying to type in Hawker and since only 4 characters are accepted in that box the rest get cut off. So, it thinks that is the ICAO code and Boeing Goshawk is what you get.
Written on 08/04/2026 by Champdriver
It happens all the time.
If you don't know the ICAO code sometimes it's better to just leave it blank.
Well said Jim. Where do people get their (mis)information from. Love the winglets.

Wild not seeing that other cockpit manned.
Written on 07/04/2026 by scottieshea
Crazy. We have a jet engined version, and a turboprop single engine version. It's already a wild aircraft with a wild history!
