United’s newest Hawaii flagship just got a big schedule boost

Submitted

United has seemingly found a winner with its newest Hawaii route. The carrier’s 4,903-mile, 11-hour hop from Newark (EWR) to Kahului/Maui (OGG) was first announced back in September 2020 as a seasonal summer service lasting just two and a half months. (thepointsguy.com) More...

Article says the 11 hour Maui route will use United’s “high-J” Boeing 767-300ER with 46 Polaris pods.

Curious to know the engine manufacturer / model. Whether CF6 or perhaps P&W .

Answer probably depends on which company first acquired the aircraft. Acquired from either the United side or the Continental side of the fleet

They are P&W. United inherited 200's and 400's.
